If you should encounter any problems with product quality or freshness, customer service, packaging or delivery, do not hestitate to call us at 1-708-371-1650. If the problem cannot be resolved otherwise, we will replace your order or refund your money. (Please do not return any item before contacting us.)

Gift Certificates

Can't decide on what to get for friends and relatives? A gift certificate is a great solution. You let them pick the Whittingham Meats products they prefer. They decide when to redeem the certificate.

You can order gift certificates for delivery to friends and relatives, or just add one to your existing order, by using our Gift Certificate page.


Your products are individually sealed and then quick-frozen to lock in natural juices and flavor. They are then packaged with gel packs in padded, robust containers for delivery by UPS.

We also offer delivery without freezing. Please contact us for information.

Shipping Charges

Shipping and hanlding costs are determined by delivery method at checkout.

  • For addresses within the continental United States, Overnight Delivery need to be placed by 12CST Mon-Thurs.
  • For shipping addresses within Illinois, a 2.5% sales tax is added on checkout.
  • For wholesale orders, please contact us regarding prices and shipping charges.


Whittingham Meats ships your order using UPS Ground or UPS Overnight Service. Please note:

  • We ship only within the continental United States.
  • We do not accept P.O. Box addresses. Please provide a valid street address.

We make every effort to fulfill and ship your order in the shortest amount of time. Online orders received by 1:00 PM Central Time are normally completed within one or two business days. Standard Delivery via UPS takes two days.

UPS will always leave your package at the shipping address, even if no one is there to sign for it. No need to pick up your order at a UPS facility. Our products are packed with gel packs to withstand up to 48 hours of unrefrigerated shipping. Please note that on the checkout page you can indicate special instructions such as preferred delivery date.

Need Overnight Delivery? Simply choose this option on check out. A charge of $15.00 per address applies. (Note that order completion still takes 1-2 business days.)

Need a product for the Weekend? Have your order purchased by Noon the Wednesday before. 

For delivery in time for Thanksgiving Day, Hanukkah, Christmas Day or New Year's Day, please place your order no later than six (6) business days prior to the holiday. Orders received fewer than 6 days prior will be processed as expeditiously as possible. (We strongly suggest use of Overnight Delivery for these cases.)


We accept payment by PayPal, PayPal eCheck, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.

(With PayPal, you completely avoid entering your credit card number online. PayPal eCheck transfers funds electronically from your bank account. It's like writing a check.)

All payments must be in U.S. dollars.

Online Security

We take your online security and privacy very seriously. All of your online credit card transactions are secured against theft by 1ShoppingCart.com, one of the first eCommerce vendors to be certified by Visa.

1ShoppingCart.com is tested and certified daily to ensure its compliance with the latest Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI/DSS). 1ShoppingCart.com works together with Authorize.Net, one of the web's most reliable credit card processors.

Order Tracking

Once your order is ready to be shipped, we send you an email notice that includes the order's UPS tracking number. You then can track your order using UPS's online tracking service. You may also track your order by contacting us directly. Please have your Order ID or tracking number ready to expedite the process. If necessary we can contact UPS for you to determine the exact status and location of your order.

Telephone Orders

We gladly accept telephone orders. Please identify your products ahead of time. If calling after hours you may leave us a message.

Retail Market

If you're in the Chicago area, please stop by our full-service retail market, where you can see our complete selection of meats first-hand. You're welcome to visit our meat processing area, adjacent to the market.

Store hours are 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday and 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Saturday. (Central time) We are located in Alsip, Illinois, a southwest suburb of Chicago, at 4134 West 127th Street. You can click here for directions.

Refund and Return Policy

Call us by the next business day after delivery to request a refund or a return. (Contact by telephone is preferred over email, fax or mail.) Please do not return any item before obtaining authorization from us.
